ZachXBT Offers $10,000 Bounty Over Asia CEX Manipulation

On Monday the on-chain investigator ZachXBT posted a $10,000 personal bounty seeking evidence that Hong Kong market maker Heisenberg Guru coordinated price manipulation across centralized exchanges Bitget, Binance and Gate. He named two individuals, Sion and Chao, as core operators of HSBG.
ZachXBT asked whistleblowers to provide chat logs, contracts, internal messages or other material showing coordinated activity across the three exchanges. He identified the River token (RIVER) as a focus and requested tips via direct message to his account. The reward was funded from his personal accounts and he described the effort as part of a wider campaign to expose Asia-based market makers.
The RIVER token rose about 500% earlier in 2026. ZachXBT noted that derivatives trading volume for RIVER has at times exceeded spot volume by large margins. The bounty post named Bitget, Binance and Gate as venues where coordinated activity allegedly occurred.
In his post he wrote, “These active MMs on Bitget, Binance, Gate, etc are a cancer to the industry and must be exposed since Asia CEXs continue to turn a blind eye on them.”
ZachXBT has offered similar bounties before, including a recent offer tied to alleged coordination around the RAVE token on Bitget. Previous probes attributed to him have prompted exchanges to review activity and in some cases coincided with asset freezes in multiple jurisdictions.
HSBG and the individuals named in the bounty did not respond publicly to requests for comment. No exchange has announced an investigation in response to the post. ZachXBT did not list a public submission form or designated wallet and did not provide instructions for anonymous submissions beyond direct messaging.
If whistleblowers submit documentation that supports the allegations, exchanges may open formal investigations or take other actions according to their compliance programs and legal obligations.
