XRP ETFs Extend Inflow Streak as Crypto Funds Lose $1.25B

U.S.-listed XRP ETFs drew $11.31 million in the week ended Oct. 9, extending their inflow streak to 13 weeks. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs lost $1.248 billion combined.

U.S.-listed XRP ETFs recorded $11.31 million in net inflows during the week ended Oct. 9, extending their positive streak to 13 weeks. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs recorded $1.248 billion in combined outflows.

Bitcoin ETFs had the largest withdrawals at $681.1 million, followed by Ethereum funds at $542.07 million and Solana products at $24.81 million. XRP inflows offset less than 1% of the money withdrawn from the other three fund groups.

Bitcoin ETFs ended three consecutive weeks of inflows. Investors withdrew $487.07 million on Wednesday and $244.13 million on Thursday. The funds recorded $21.13 million in inflows on Friday, but still ended the week with their first net outflow since the week ended Sept. 11.

Bitcoin ETF net assets fell to $105.84 billion from $108.89 billion a week earlier. The change reflected investor redemptions and changes in Bitcoin’s market price. Rolling 30-day data showed lower ETF demand than in earlier periods.

Ethereum ETFs recorded outflows in all five trading sessions. Their $542.07 million weekly outflow was the largest since January. Tuesday’s $201.89 million outflow and Wednesday’s $160.77 million withdrawal accounted for about two-thirds of the weekly total.

Cumulative net inflows into Ethereum funds since launch fell to $13.26 billion from $13.8 billion the previous week. Net assets declined to $15.71 billion from $17.46 billion, reflecting redemptions and changes in Ether’s price.

Solana ETFs recorded outflows in every session, ending a 14-week period of inflows. Monday had the largest withdrawal at $9.25 million, followed by $4.8 million on Wednesday. Cumulative net inflows fell to $1.58 billion, while net assets ended the week at $1.73 billion.

XRP ETFs received $3.14 million on Tuesday and $8.17 million on Thursday. They recorded no net flow during the other three sessions. The weekly total was more than twice the $4.74 million received the previous week.

XRP ETF net assets fell to $1.57 billion from $1.66 billion despite the new inflows. Cumulative net inflows rose to $1.8 billion. The decline in net assets also reflected changes in XRP’s price.
