World Money rolls out stablecoin wallets across 150+ countries

Tools for Humanity began rolling out World Money on Sept. 17, 2026, a self-custody wallet showing USD and seven local-currency stablecoin balances in 150+ countries.

On Sept. 17, 2026, Tools for Humanity began rolling out World Money across more than 150 countries. The app is a self-custody wallet that displays stablecoin balances across eight currencies, including the U.S. dollar and seven local‑currency stablecoins.

The home screen centers those stablecoin balances and allows users to send and receive digital assets using World usernames, subject to country availability. The launch announcement did not publish a ticker-by-ticker list for each market.

In the United States, the default add‑funds path routes through Stripe. Apple Pay can convert fiat into stablecoins that typically appear in accounts within minutes. Where available, users can route funds into personal virtual accounts powered by Bridge.

An Earn tab lets users deposit eligible stablecoins and Worldcoin (WLD) into programs managed by Morpho. Returns on those deposits are generated by the protocol and are not bank deposits. Completing Orb verification via World ID can unlock a limited‑time promotional boost on eligible Earn programs.

A Trade tab enables buying and selling of assets inside the same self‑custody wallet, from tokenized real‑world assets to established tokens. Mini apps referenced at launch include prediction‑market access, credit products and yield integrations; availability for those surfaces varies by jurisdiction.

The custody model is self‑custody: users control private keys rather than relying on a brokerage cash sweep. Identity and finance functions are split across two apps, with World ID used for verification and World Money used for wallet and payments; existing verification credentials can be carried into the wallet app.

The company noted that several features are provided by third‑party vendors under their own terms and that live availability will vary by country. It advised users and businesses to check the app’s in‑app country matrix and applicable terms before moving funds or integrating World Money into operational flows.
