Whales hold 67% of Cardano supply as ADA slips
Wallets with at least 1M ADA hold 25.09B tokens — 67.47% of circulating supply — as ADA trades at $0.267 after recent declines.
On-chain analytics firm Santiment reported wallets holding at least 1 million ADA now control 25.09 billion tokens, equal to 67.47% of Cardano’s circulating supply, the highest share on record. At the time of the report, ADA traded at $0.267 and was down more than 20% so far in 2026. Santiment also noted the asset has lost about 71% of its market capitalization over the past nine months.
Santiment’s data show the million-ADA cohort has been steadily accumulating since December 2023 and added roughly 410 million ADA in 2026 alone.
Smaller wallets reduced holdings over the same period. Wallets holding between 100 and 1,000 ADA shed about 76.22 million tokens, a drop of 15.6%. The 1,000 to 10,000 ADA tier released roughly 320 million tokens, or 14.4%.
Santiment’s figures indicate a transfer of supply from smaller cohorts into the largest wallets. The accumulation by the million-ADA group continued while prices declined.
