USDC to Feature on Chelsea’s Shirts in 2026/27

Chelsea named Circle Internet Group its principal front-of-shirt partner for 2026/27, placing USDC branding on men’s, women’s and academy shirts from Aug. 30.

Chelsea Football Club named Circle Internet Group its principal front-of-shirt partner for the 2026/27 season, placing USDC branding on the men’s, women’s and academy shirts. The USDC mark will debut on Aug. 30 when Chelsea hosts Brighton at Stamford Bridge.

The agreement gives Circle the club’s principal partner designation and the central sponsor position across the senior men’s, senior women’s and academy shirts for the 2026/27 campaign. Both Circle’s corporate name and the USDC brand will appear on the front of the shirts, with the USDC mark more prominent than the Circle logo.

The sponsorship is a branding arrangement. Neither Chelsea nor Circle announced that supporters will be able to use USDC to buy tickets, merchandise or other club services as part of the initial deal. Circle’s campaign page notes that USDC is not issued or regulated under UK law and that the sponsorship should not be read as an invitation to acquire, hold or trade a cryptoasset or to use a financial service.

The deal covers kits across the senior men’s and women’s teams and academy sides for the single season specified. Communications from both parties mention the possibility of broader collaboration in future but give no details about additional commercial or payment integrations.

Chelsea had an extended period without a front-of-shirt sponsor and at times was the only Premier League club without a main sponsor. The agreement places a dollar-pegged stablecoin issuer on the primary shirt location, exposing the USDC brand to matchday television coverage, merchandising and the club’s global audience.
