US Spot Crypto ETFs Gather $3B as Flows Expand Beyond BTC

U.S. spot crypto ETFs took in $3.04 billion Monday–Thursday; Bitcoin funds received $2.25 billion and non-Bitcoin ETFs led by Ethereum drew about $793 million.

U.S. spot ETFs tracking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Zcash recorded $3.04 billion of net inflows from Monday through Thursday, with Bitcoin funds taking $2.25 billion and the other four assets drawing about $792.6 million.

Bitcoin spot ETFs began the week with a $999 million inflow on Monday, the largest single-day intake of 2026 and the biggest daily total since roughly $1.2 billion on Oct. 6, 2025. Those purchases represented about 11,530 BTC. Funds added $190.65 million on Thursday, bringing Bitcoin’s four-day total to $2.25 billion. A Sept. 24 snapshot of fund data showed 12 U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs held $108.92 billion in net assets and had cumulative net inflows of $57.43 billion.

U.S. Ethereum spot ETFs attracted $602.94 million from Monday through Thursday. The funds took in $269.98 million on Monday, $162.31 million on Tuesday, $104.63 million on Wednesday and $66.01 million on Thursday. By Sept. 24, cumulative net inflows into 11 U.S. Ethereum ETFs reached $13.85 billion, with combined net assets of $17.70 billion.

Smaller crypto ETFs also saw inflows that broadened demand. Solana products drew $101.55 million over the four days, lifting cumulative inflows to $1.52 billion and net assets to about $1.81 billion. XRP ETFs added $52.95 million, taking cumulative inflows to $1.77 billion and net assets to roughly $1.70 billion. A single tracked Zcash spot fund recorded $35.17 million of inflows for the week, bringing cumulative inflows to $306.12 million and net assets close to $1 billion after the product began trading earlier this month.

Combined, Bitcoin and Ethereum accounted for about $2.85 billion, nearly 94% of inflows across the five assets. Including Ethereum, non-Bitcoin products made up roughly 26% of total inflows.

Market platforms reported that renewed ETF demand coincided with corporate treasury purchases, creating two sources of spot demand. Despite the inflows, Bitcoin has not held a move above $85,000 since Tuesday after reaching $87,392 on Sept. 21. One trading venue identified a concentration of recent buying between $85,000 and $86,500 and estimated the aggregate ETF investor break-even level at about $86,000.

Market data showed 35 non-Bitcoin pairs rose between Sept. 18 and Sept. 22, with a median gain of 12%, compared with Bitcoin’s 6.6% increase over the same period. An indicator tracking altcoin performance turned positive on Sept. 22 for the first time since January.
