Two TIX pools account for $2.82B of XRPL AMM volume

Two newly created TIX pools generated $2.82 billion of XRPL.to’s seven‑day AMM volume across 185 trades; neither pool held native XRP and they made up 97.24% of the total.

XRPL.to’s Sept. 24 data showed a seven‑day AMM total of 2.82069 billion, of which about 1.68 billion was attributed to an XPM/TIX pool and just over 1 billion to an RLUSD/TIX pool. The provider counted 69 fills in XPM/TIX and 116 fills in RLUSD/TIX for a combined 185 trades in the rolling seven‑day window. Both pools were created on Sept. 21 and had no recorded trades in the 24 hours before the Sept. 24 snapshot.

On‑ledger checks at the Sept. 24 snapshot found the XPM/TIX pool holding roughly 1,545 XPM and 9.69 million TIX. The RLUSD/TIX pool held only trace amounts of the two issued tokens and zero XRP. Reserve levels at the time affect the amount a trader could swap using those pools.

A settled payment dated Sept. 22 routed through TIX and both AMM accounts. The payment used about 5.89 XPM and delivered 0.030177 RLUSD, and ledger metadata recorded token balance changes at each pool leg.

XRPL automated market maker rules permit pools that directly pair two issued tokens without XRP as one side. Routed payments can pass through multiple pools, so a pool‑level fill does not necessarily represent a separate end‑to‑end customer payment. Transactions on the ledger continue to incur XRP network fees, and longer routes may use XRP elsewhere on the ledger.

Reporting methods differ between dashboards. One provider’s headline AMM total included token‑token pool volumes in the $2.82 billion figure. Other dashboards exclude token‑token pools from headline XRP‑paired metrics because those reserves are harder to price in dollars; an XRP‑pair AMM metric reported $55.1 million in seven‑day volume on the same period, a figure not directly comparable to the token‑token total.

Reproducing the $2.82 billion total requires converting each reported TIX fill into fiat or XRP at the time of each trade using on‑chain data. Ledger records and pool reserve snapshots are available for verification of routes, fills and reserve balances.
