Trump Media moves 2,650 BTC to Crypto.com; holdings 6,889 BTC

Trump Media & Technology Group transferred 2,650 BTC (about $205 million) to Crypto.com, reducing its reported Bitcoin holdings to roughly 6,889 BTC.

Trump Media & Technology Group transferred 2,650 Bitcoin, about $205 million at current prices, to the Crypto.com exchange, according to on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain. The deposit is the second large outflow from the company’s wallets this year and does not by itself confirm a sale on the market.

On-chain records show the 2,650 BTC moved to Crypto.com after TMTG sent 2,000 BTC roughly four months earlier, when those coins left company wallets at about $87,378 per coin. After that earlier transfer, TMTG disclosed in its Q1 filing that its treasury held 9,542 BTC; the latest transfer reduces that reported figure to approximately 6,889 BTC. The next exchange settlement window will indicate whether the new deposit results in confirmed sales.

TMTG originally accumulated 11,542 BTC at an average cost near $118,522 per coin, deploying about $1.37 billion of corporate capital into Bitcoin. With Bitcoin trading near $77,700, the holdings sit about 34% below the company’s average purchase price, representing an unrealized shortfall of roughly $455 million.

The deposit follows a reported net loss of $406 million earlier this month, of which $368.7 million was attributed to write-downs on digital assets and equity securities. TMTG’s disclosed treasury also includes 756 million Cronos (CRO) tokens, valued at about $2.64 million.

Future on-chain activity and exchange settlement reports should clarify whether the Crypto.com deposit leads to realized sales and further changes to TMTG’s reported crypto holdings and balance sheet.
