Three token unlocks to watch May 25-26: HUMA, XPL, SAHARA

Huma Finance, Plasma and Sahara AI will release locked tokens into circulation on May 25–26 as part of a schedule of unlocks totaling more than $655 million in the final week of May 2026.

Huma Finance will unlock 458.75 million HUMA on May 26, a tranche valued at about $11.64 million. The release represents 20.04% of HUMA’s reported released supply of 2.29 billion, against a total supply of 10 billion. The unlocked tokens are allocated to investors (171.67 million HUMA), the team and advisors (160.83 million HUMA) and the protocol treasury (126.25 million HUMA). Huma Finance describes itself as a payment-focused network that enables global payment firms to settle transactions around the clock using stablecoins and on-chain liquidity.

Plasma will unlock 88.89 million XPL on May 25, a batch valued at roughly $7.24 million and equal to about 3.69% of its released supply of 2.41 billion, with a total supply of 10 billion. The entire 88.89 million XPL allocation is earmarked for ecosystem and growth initiatives. Plasma is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to improve stablecoin transaction efficiency and supports features such as zero-fee USDT transfers, custom gas tokens and confidential payments.

Sahara AI will release 132.93 million SAHARA on May 26, a tranche valued near $4.56 million and amounting to approximately 4.06% of its released supply of 3.27 billion, with a total supply of 10 billion. The allocation splits into 53.02 million tokens for ecosystem development, 48.67 million for airdrops and 31.25 million for community incentives. Sahara AI positions itself as a full-stack, AI-native blockchain that combines data services, developer tools and a marketplace for AI applications.

Token unlock schedules list the amounts entering circulation and the planned uses for those tokens. Such events are tracked by market participants for potential impact on liquidity and price volatility. Other projects with scheduled releases that week include Venom, Sophon and Sign.
