Strategy’s $250 Bitcoin Air Jordans Sell Out in Days
Strategy’s $250 Bitcoin-themed Air Jordans, launched Sept. 4 on the company store, were sold out by Sept. 8. The firm holds 845,050 BTC, about 4.02% of the 21 million supply.
Strategy launched a $250 pair of Bitcoin-themed Air Jordans on its online store on Sept. 4 and listed all nine advertised sizes as unavailable by Sept. 8. The company did not disclose how many pairs were offered or the exact time inventory ran out.
The sneakers are described as mid-top shoes inspired by the original Air Jordan 1. The product page listed custom company branding, leather overlays, Nike Air cushioning and the Air Jordan Wings logo. Sizes shown on the site ranged from 6.5 to 14 and the listed price was $250 per pair.
The Jordans appeared alongside other items on Strategy’s storefront, including a $50 Bitcoin Strategy Game, a $125 Strategy hoodie and a $35 organic cotton shirt associated with Michael Saylor. Strategy changed its corporate name from MicroStrategy to Strategy in February 2025 and has highlighted its Bitcoin holdings in its public profile since then.
Strategy’s reported cryptocurrency treasury stands at 845,050 BTC, equal to about 4.02% of Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply. The storefront displays payment methods such as American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Mastercard and Visa. Bitcoin does not appear among the visible payment options; the company has not confirmed whether Bitcoin can be used at checkout and the displayed menu may not list every accepted method.
Strategy has not provided a restock date or said whether the Jordans were intended as a limited release or the start of a recurring merchandise program. Because the company has not revealed inventory totals, the sold-out status alone does not indicate the scale of consumer demand.
