SpherePay Adds USDC Off-Ramps to PIX, ACH and SEPA
SpherePay’s Transfers API lets customers send USDC to Brazil’s PIX, U.S. ACH and European SEPA accounts from one endpoint. PIX transfers require profile B and are capped at $7,500.
SpherePay’s Transfers API uses a registered wallet as the source and a registered bank account as the destination in a POST request to /v2/transfer. Available fiat currencies include U.S. dollars, euros and Brazilian reais. Routes depend on the customer’s region, account setup, verification status and blockchain network.
For PIX payouts, the API accepts USDC on Base, Ethereum and Polygon. It accepts USDT on Ethereum, Polygon and Tron. Solana is not supported for Brazilian real transfers. PIX transactions range from $1 to $7,500 in stablecoin units per transfer. Higher limits may be available after additional review.
Customers must be created and approved before they can make a transfer. SpherePay uses Sumsub for know-your-customer and know-your-business checks. PIX access requires verification profile B, with all required information completed before review.
Developers must register the customer’s wallet and destination bank account. A Brazilian account requires a PIX key, its type and a Brazilian postal code. Accepted key types include CPF, CNPJ, email, phone number and randomly generated keys. Brazilian real transfers also require a paymentReason field. Permitted reasons include professional services, family support, import and export, and rent. The route supports percentage-based integrator fees through integratorBpsFeeRate, but not fixed fees.
Developers can request a quote when a recipient needs a guaranteed fiat amount. Quotes last for 30, 60 or 300 seconds, with 60 seconds as the default, and can be used once. A transfer using a quote passes the quote ID instead of the source amount and uses the locked rate, currency and network.
After a transfer is created, its status becomes pendingFunding. SpherePay returns deposit instructions with the address, network, currency and amount to send. The transfer then moves through processing before reaching a completed or failed status. Developers can check status through polling or transfer webhooks.
ACH payouts generally use same-day ACH. Wires can take up to three business days, while SEPA transfers can take up to one business day. USDC can be sent to ACH or wire accounts from Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Polygon and Solana. The same networks are supported for USDC transfers to SEPA accounts. EURC is also available for SEPA payouts from Base, Ethereum and Solana.
SpherePay does not provide a separate sandbox. Testing takes place in production with real identity information, so companies must use small live transfers during testing. The API limit is 100 read requests and 100 write requests per second for each application.
SpherePay also offers Offloader Wallets, which convert stablecoin deposits and send fiat to a linked ACH, wire or SEPA account. The documented product does not support PIX or transfer webhooks. Unlike Offloader Wallets, the Transfers API lets developers select the payout rail for each transaction.
The SpherePay documentation reviewed for this report was current on Oct. 7, 2026. The referenced materials do not include a platform fee schedule. Final costs depend on the applicable fee terms and any integrator fee set by the developer.
