Sleepagotchi Debuts AI Sleep Coach, Appoints Kenny Wood CEO

Sleepagotchi released an AI Sleep Coach MVP and named Kenny Wood CEO. Founder Anton Kraminkin becomes strategic advisor. The app reports 2M Telegram users and $100K in a three-week beta.

Sleepagotchi has launched an AI Sleep Coach minimum viable product and appointed Kenny Wood as chief executive. Founder Anton Kraminkin will move into a strategic advisor role. The company reports 2 million all-time users on its Telegram Lite experience and more than $100,000 in revenue during a recent three-week beta.

The AI Sleep Coach analyzes sleep metrics and patterns to highlight routine changes and recommend next steps for improving sleep and recovery. Live integrations with Whoop, Oura and Apple Watch send biometric signals into the coach so recommendations reflect data from devices users already wear. According to Sleepagotchi, 78% of users open the app within 10 minutes of waking.

Sleepagotchi began as a gamified sleep-rewards app delivered through Telegram Lite and a token-based incentive system. The company says that early engagement from the rewards model provided a base for expanding into AI-driven coaching. The platform’s native token, $SLEEP, is described as a utility for purchasing AI credits, accessing subscription benefits, staking user levels, earning gamified rewards and participating in a marketplace under permissioned data arrangements.

Kenny Wood joins Sleepagotchi after more than two decades working on games, simulations and AI-driven creative systems. His work includes projects tied to Transformers, Formula 1, the World Rally Championship, Bionicle and Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX. He held leadership roles at VSTEP and served as CTO at Moonlander before its acquisition by Alpha 3D. Anton Kraminkin will remain involved in long-term product vision, partnerships and the gamification model behind early growth. Investors Shalini Wood and Aditya Julka are joining the company as growth partners focused on brand, community and product expansion.

The company reports $6.5 million raised across funding rounds with participation from Sfermion, Inception, 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, 1kx, Alliance, GSR and Everyrealm. Sfermion and Inception supported the leadership transition and pointed to the app’s consumer engagement and daily use as reasons for backing the change.

Sleepagotchi says it will give users control over permissioned access to wearable and wellness data, allowing individuals to decide how their biometric and behavioral information is shared with partners, used for AI personalization or entered into marketplace activity. The company positions the token and platform features as mechanisms for users to receive rewards or marketplace benefits tied to data-sharing decisions.

Looking ahead, Sleepagotchi plans to add additional AI agents for diet and exercise coaching, meal planning and shopping assistance, and tools for health management and partner campaigns. The company says product utility will be supported by AI agent credits, subscriptions, staked user levels and marketplace features. The AI Sleep Coach MVP is available now for users who want personalized sleep feedback linked to wearable data.
