Seven U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs rebound after $265M outflow
Seven of 12 U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs drew $170.1 million in inflows on Aug. 3, led by BlackRock’s IBIT with $111.4 million, after a $265.4 million net outflow on July 31.
Seven of the 12 U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $170.1 million of net inflows on Aug. 3, according to ETF flow data. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $111.4 million, or 65.5% of the total.
The other positive funds together took in $58.7 million: Fidelity’s FBTC added $33.4 million, EZBC $9.2 million, BTCO $6.7 million, HODL $4.5 million, BITB $2.8 million and ARKB $2.1 million. Five funds were flat for the session: BRRR, BTCW, MSBT, GBTC and the BTC ticker.
The Aug. 3 inflows followed a three-day swing in flows. On July 30 the group attracted $233.1 million across seven funds. On July 31 the same group recorded a $265.4 million net outflow. During the July 31 selloff, IBIT posted $122.7 million of net redemptions, FBTC lost $54.8 million, GBTC $52.6 million, BITB $17.8 million and ARKB $17.5 million. No fund had a net inflow on July 31.
On Aug. 3, cash entered seven funds while none reported negative net flows. IBIT’s share of the day’s inflows was roughly two-thirds, with the six smaller positive funds accounting for the remaining one-third.
Bitcoin was up about 0.91% over the previous 24 hours in the period covered by the flow data. The token’s market capitalization was near $1.29 trillion and circulating supply about 20.07 million.
Subsequent daily flow reports will show whether inflows continue across multiple issuers or remain concentrated in a small number of funds.
