Robinhood Chain Apps Drew $2.7M in 24 Hours; Firm Keeps Little

Robinhood Chain apps generated about $2.7M in a 24‑hour window ending Sept. 1; most fees went to third‑party apps and protocols. Robinhood has stated it takes a few basis points per transaction and shares about half with Arbitrum.

Applications on Robinhood Chain generated roughly $2.7 million over a rolling 24‑hour period ending early Sept. 1, according to data tracked by DefiLlama. Application revenue in the window ranged from $2.66 million to $2.82 million.

DefiLlama showed $963,612 of chain revenue on $1.07 million of chain fees for the same period. The largest application recipients were trading bot GMGN with about $1.11 million and token launchpad Pons with about $1 million. Uniswap led protocol fee receipts. DefiLlama defines chain revenue as the gas revenue that remains after Ethereum execution and blob costs and after the Arbitrum Expansion Program share is removed.

On the company’s second‑quarter earnings call, Robinhood CFO Shiv Verma described the fee as “a few basis points per transaction, with approximately half shared with Arbitrum.” The company has not provided a precise fee rate, the number of eligible transactions, the fee base used to calculate charges, or a reconciliation of chain activity to GAAP revenue.

Activity on the chain rose in several measures between late July and the observed 24‑hour window. Rolling 24‑hour decentralized exchange volume reached roughly $1.4 billion, up from about $370 million on July 29. Chain‑wide active real‑world asset market cap increased from nearly $28 million in late July to about $163 million; roughly $95 million of that total is listed as Syrup USDG private credit. At the same time, 24‑hour chain inflows were negative by roughly $20 million.

DefiLlama separates application revenue, chain revenue and chain fees as distinct layers, showing where fee dollars flow on‑chain but not how those figures convert to corporate accounting entries. Public records and the company’s disclosures do not provide a formula that maps on‑chain receipts to Robinhood’s reported revenue.

Since July, Robinhood Chain has seen higher transaction volume and more tokenized‑asset listings, with GMGN and Pons the top application recipients during the observed period.
