RLUSD market cap hits $1.6B; XRPL transfer volume rises
Ripple’s RLUSD reached a $1.6B market cap after $370M added this month; RLUSD accounts for about 88% of XRPL stablecoins, Q1 transfer volume was $18.4B and XRP ETFs drew $80M in April.
RLUSD, a stablecoin native to the XRP Ledger, reached a market capitalization of $1.6 billion after about $370 million was added to its circulating supply this month, according to CoinMarketCap. The added supply represents roughly a 30% increase.
Token Terminal recorded RLUSD transfer volume of $18.4 billion in the first quarter, the highest quarterly total on record. March accounted for more than 55% of the quarter’s transfer activity.
DeFiLlama shows total stablecoin supply on the XRP Ledger rose by over 4% in the most recent week, equal to about $16.7 million of added liquidity. DeFiLlama lists RLUSD supply at about $381 million after a reported 20% monthly increase, representing close to 88% of the ledger’s stablecoin supply.
SoSoValue reports that XRP exchange-traded funds attracted roughly $80 million of inflows in April, the largest monthly institutional inflow since December 2025, when funds drew about $500 million. Market data indicated XRP was up approximately 6% at press time.
Stablecoins are tokens designed to maintain a stable value relative to fiat currencies and are commonly used for payments and liquidity on blockchain networks. The figures above reflect on-chain transfer statistics, reported supply changes and ETF flows across the first quarter and April.
