Powerloom Users Have 24 Hours to Bridge Assets

Powerloom users must move transferable assets to Ethereum via the Arbitrum bridge before the Powerloom chain halts at 6:00 AM UTC on July 21.

Powerloom will stop producing blocks and halt its chain at 6:00 AM UTC on July 21. Users holding transferable POWER or other liquid assets on the Powerloom chain have until that time to move them to Ethereum through the project’s Arbitrum bridge or risk losing on-chain access.

Claims, unstaking and node-burn workflows closed earlier. The mint.powerloom.network dashboard went offline at 6:00 AM UTC on July 16, leaving only balances already available on-chain eligible for withdrawal.

Powerloom’s wind-down page lists the bridge as active. The project advises users to initiate the transfer on the Powerloom side and complete the claim on Ethereum before the cutoff. The bridge only supports balances that are already transferable on Powerloom; rewards awaiting claim, staked POWER and node-slot funds that depended on the closed dashboards are no longer recoverable.

When the chain stops producing blocks, the network’s contracts and state will become inaccessible and the Arbitrum-based bridge will cease to function because it requires an operating source chain. Balances left on Powerloom after the shutdown could become stranded even though Ethereum remains online.

The POWER ERC-20 contract already deployed on Ethereum at 0x429F0d8233e517f9acf6F0C8293BF35804063a83 is immutable and will remain available on-chain. The shutdown deadline applies only to assets and application state still on the Powerloom chain; assets already held as ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum are not affected.

In a June 15 announcement the founders wrote that after reviewing the project’s path forward they had decided to wind down Powerloom, citing a lack of a sustainable operating model, insufficient ongoing demand and limited resources.

The July 21 deadline comes about five weeks after the wind-down announcement. Users who still hold transferable balances must start the bridge transfer on Powerloom and complete the claim on Ethereum before 6:00 AM UTC on July 21. Powerloom’s wind-down materials and bridge interface remain the official route for withdrawals; funds tied to closed dashboard workflows, staking or unclaimed rewards cannot be recovered.
