NOWPayments runs TOKEN2049 travel on Staynex, opens booker

NOWPayments ran its TOKEN2049 team travel on Staynex and launched a co-branded booking portal on 7 September 2026 at 09:00 SGT. The portal allows NOWPayments staff, ecosystem partners and community members to book accommodation for TOKEN2049 Singapore (7–8 October 2026, Marina Bay Sands) and pay in cryptocurrency.

NOWPayments mandated Staynex to manage 100% of its internal team accommodation for the conference and opened the same booking stack to more than 20,000 partners.

For the TOKEN2049 programme, NOWPayments completed 21 bookings totaling 151 room nights at four- and five-star properties. All bookings showed 100% payment completion with zero failed crypto checkouts on NOWPayments rails. The company estimates about 10% savings compared with equivalent mainstream online travel agency pricing. A detailed B2B case study on the operating model, traveller and payment flow will be issued to media and partners.

The co-branded site combines Staynex’s AI curation and human concierge with a hybrid fiat/crypto checkout, while NOWPayments supplies the crypto payment stack. Staynex says its platform reaches more than 2.65 million hotels and 700 airlines. NOWPayments supports more than 350 cryptocurrencies and 40 fiat options, including over 30 stablecoins, and serves some 20,000 partners as part of the ChangeNOW ecosystem.

Kate Lifshits, CEO of NOWPayments, called the arrangement “a partnership built on real usage: ‘The best partnerships are the ones where both sides become real users of each other’s products. Staynex × Sleap uses NOWPayments for crypto payments, and we use their platform for our own corporate travel. That makes this much more than an integration – it’s a partnership built on real usage.'” Yuen Wong, Group CEO of Staynex, described the collaboration as proof of trust from a payments ecosystem: “This partnership is the proof that a payments ecosystem will trust Staynex with its own people, on the industry’s most visible week, and then extend that opportunity to its community of 20,000+ partners. That is a partnership built around real utility, not a logo swap.”

From 7 September to 10 October 2026 the partners are running a promotion called “Book with Crypto, Win the Race” for qualifying reservations made on the co-branded site. Prizes listed on the booking site include two Singapore Grand Prix 2026 race-weekend tickets, three seven-night RCI resort stays and five single-use airport lounge passes on the Dragonpass network. Crypto bookings of USD 500 or more earn one entry and bookings of USD 1,000 or more earn two entries, with a cap of five entries per person. Draws for the Grand Prix tickets and Dragonpass passes are scheduled for 2 October; the RCI stays draw on 10 October. Cancelled, no-show or refunded stays are void under the promotion terms.

NOWPayments will promote the portal to its partner network ahead of TOKEN2049, an event expected to draw about 25,000 attendees to Marina Bay Sands. The companies state the collaboration is intended as a repeatable partner template linking crypto payments with travel and event planning for exchanges, crypto cards and community platforms.
