Morph, Gauntlet, Morpho bring yield to Bitget users
Morph, Gauntlet and Morpho will provide on-chain yield on Bitget, offering about 18% APY on USDC and 3% on bgBTC to 125M+ users; bgBTC live July 31, USDC Aug 3.
Morph, Gauntlet and Morpho have partnered with Bitget to offer institutional-grade on-chain yield strategies to users of Bitget Exchange and Bitget Wallet. The program offers about 18% APY on USDC and about 3% APY on bgBTC to a user base exceeding 125 million.
Bitget Exchange will list the bgBTC (Bitget Wrapped Bitcoin) yield strategy on July 31, 2026. The USDC yield strategy will be available in the self-custodial Bitget Wallet starting August 3, 2026. Users can deposit USDC or BTC on Bitget platforms and access the strategies while keeping custody where applicable.
Morph provides payments and settlement infrastructure for the collaboration. Gauntlet supplies data-driven vault strategies, named Morpho and Aera, designed to balance yield and risk. Morpho operates an open credit network that routes lending and borrowing flows. Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) will be used to move bgBTC between Morph’s Layer 2 and other blockchains.
Bitget packaged the strategies inside its exchange and wallet interfaces so customers do not need to interact directly with lending markets or smart contracts. Bitget Wallet supports self-custodial accounts with stablecoin payments, Visa and Mastercard card integrations, hardware-backed key security and a $300 million user protection fund.
The companies published performance and scale figures with the announcement: Bitget serves more than 125 million users and Bitget Wallet is trusted by over 100 million people. Morpho reported over $11 billion in deposits across its open credit network. Gauntlet said it deploys more than $1.5 billion in data-driven strategies on-chain and that its models have helped protect over $42 billion in digital assets. Morph described its architecture as a Layer 2 for fast stablecoin payments and a Layer 1 called Tachyon for trading and market settlement.
Gracy Chen, Bitget’s CEO, said, “The future isn’t about forcing users to learn new systems. It’s about bringing opportunities to where users already are.” Alvin Kan, Bitget Wallet’s COO, added that the integration allows users to retain ownership while accessing curated strategies. Kate Wong, Liquidity & DeFi Lead at Morph, noted the collaboration uses Morph’s network speed and interoperability to connect on-chain yield infrastructure to a large retail user base. Matt Dobel, VP of Growth at Gauntlet, commented that deploying Gauntlet’s vault strategies on Morph expands their scale and reach. Paul Frambot, Morpho’s CEO and co-founder, explained the integration delivers on-chain lending through familiar interfaces without additional complexity for users.
