Morgan Stanley’s MSOL Leads $9.1M Solana ETF Inflows
Morgan Stanley’s MSOL led $9.1 million in U.S. Solana ETF inflows on Aug. 26, drawing about $5.5 million as SOL climbed above $100.
On Aug. 26 U.S. Solana ETFs recorded $9.1 million in net inflows, led by Morgan Stanley’s MSOL, which drew about $5.5 million as SOL traded back above $100. Weekly inflows reached about $74.8 million and August subscriptions topped $113 million.
MSOL made up roughly 60% of the day’s net intake. Bitwise’s BSOL added about $2.6 million and VanEck’s VSOL took in roughly $1 million. The inflows followed two larger days on Aug. 24 and 25 that together exceeded $65 million, including a single-day $33.5 million inflow.
Bitwise reported that BSOL posted its largest single-day trading volume for a Solana ETF, with more than $108 million changing hands in one session and more than $261 million traded across four sessions. Total Solana ETF trading volume reached about $166.8 million on that record day.
Solana’s token reclaimed the $100 level for the first time since February, trading near $105 and pushing its market capitalization above $60 billion. SOL has risen about 43% in August. The broader crypto market also moved higher after changes to U.S. Treasury bond buyback policy that eased pressure on longer-term yields, with Bitcoin trading above $81,000 and Ethereum past $2,500.
This month funds have recorded only one daily net outflow, on Aug. 6, leaving August’s total slightly below May’s roughly $115 million. Since their launch, Solana-focused ETFs have attracted about $1.26 billion in cumulative net inflows and manage roughly the same amount in assets.
On-chain activity has increased, with recent data showing about 5 million daily active addresses on the Solana network. After the two large subscription days, the daily inflow pace slowed in the most recent session.
