Internet Computer Tops Chains with 6.5B Transactions in 30 Days

Internet Computer logged roughly 6.5 billion transactions in the past 30 days, more than double Solana’s 2.9 billion, per Chainspect’s May 24 rankings.

Chainspect’s May 24 rankings show Internet Computer processed about 6.5 billion transactions over the previous 30 days, exceeding Solana’s roughly 2.9 billion. The 6.5 billion total was the largest 30-day volume among the major chains included in the ranking.

Fogo, BNB Chain and TRON rounded out the top five, each recording fewer than 500 million transactions in the same 30-day window.

Internet Computer distributes processing across more than 49 subnets. Each subnet runs its own consensus process, which lets the network scale horizontally instead of relying on a single execution layer. Chainspect reports the network currently processes about 2,891 transactions per second and logged roughly 10.4 million transactions in the past hour.

Chainspect’s cumulative figures show Internet Computer has processed about 287 billion transactions since the network launched in May 2021.

On markets, ICP rose nearly 49% in early May and then declined more than 28% since May 9. At press time the ICP token traded near $2.57, down about 0.55% over the prior 24 hours.
