HYPE ETFs Record 12 Sessions Without Inflows, $29.8M Outflows

Hyperliquid’s HYPE exchange-traded funds recorded 12 consecutive trading sessions without inflows from July 17 through Aug. 3, 2026, registering $29.8 million in net outflows across BHYP, THYP and HYPG, according to Farside Investors. The period included nine negative days and three flat sessions.

Farside’s data shows Bitwise’s BHYP accounted for $22.5 million of the outflows, 21Shares’ THYP had $5.3 million leave and Grayscale’s HYPG logged $2 million in net outflows over the 12-session stretch. The Aug. 3 entry added a $1 million outflow for HYPG while BHYP and THYP were listed as flat that day.

Cumulative reported flows through Aug. 3 stood at about $283 million: roughly $106.3 million for BHYP, $50 million for THYP and $126.9 million for HYPG.

Issuer-reported figures show different asset totals. Bitwise reported BHYP assets under management of $92.36 million and 3.03 million shares outstanding as of Aug. 2, with about 70% of assets staked. 21Shares reported THYP AUM of $50.95 million and 1.67 million shares as of July 31; its prospectus specifies a staking range of 30% to 70%. Grayscale reported HYPG AUM of $109.35 million, 5.67 million shares and 94.31% of assets staked on Aug. 3.

Daily flow tables record dollar movements but do not identify investors or motives. Creation and redemption of ETF shares by authorized participants can register as inflows or outflows in those tables independent of token price changes.

The underlying token traded around $53.94 after the Aug. 3 market refresh, down about 4.5% over seven days and 22.8% over 30 days. The HYPE ETFs drew roughly $161 million in their first month after launch; by July 30 approximately $27 million had left, with outflows reaching $29.8 million by Aug. 3.

Reported flows are affected by token price moves, staking levels, fees, distributions and issuance/redemption activity. The next reporting update will provide the latest flow figures.
