Humanity Protocol H token plunges 88% after key breach

Humanity Protocol’s H token fell 88% after private keys held by a foundation member were compromised, letting attackers drain over $30 million from more than 17 wallets.

Humanity Protocol’s H token fell 88% over 24 hours after a security breach allowed attackers to drain funds from project wallets. The token hit an intraday low near $0.072, its lowest level since mid-December 2025, erasing a rally that reached a record high the previous week.

On-chain analysts detected multiple wallet drains and rapid sell-offs. Blockchain investigator Specter identified more than 17 affected wallets and published five addresses tied to the theft: 0x456Cb73b35022E4B524e5510807776453d984AeF, 0xee4B6B8967Aa947ac3aEf540eE07ea6099C566F7, 0xAf2a4989922299EB14A29E332dad1012A8aaD3A0, 0x1dfe5cF3ED5a0AC82FDD0bFCdaC7B6C6323f844a, 0xD1ea823D421E0c829ee11F772AF487fd352678EA. Initial on-chain estimates put losses near $5 million before rising to more than $30 million as additional wallets were affected.

On-chain data shows the attacker sold stolen H and converted proceeds into Ethereum (ETH). The rapid disposals corresponded with sharp price declines and reduced liquidity for H.

Founder Terence Kwok confirmed the incident and linked it to compromised private keys held by a member of the Humanity Foundation. He advised users not to interact with the project’s bridge or any liquidity pools until the team verifies they are safe.

Kwok said the team has engaged security experts and is coordinating with exchange partners to contain the breach. The project posted: “We’re deeply sorry that this has happened. Protecting this community is our responsibility, and we don’t take that lightly. We will share verified updates as soon as we have them, and we won’t speculate before facts are confirmed.”

The breach occurred weeks before a scheduled June 25 token unlock. Humanity Protocol has not provided a timeline for restoring services or confirmed whether exchanges have suspended trading or delisted the token. The investigation is ongoing and on-chain monitoring continues to track movement of the stolen funds.
