EU Sanctions Push NoOnes Exchange to Withdrawal-Only Mode

EU listing of NoOnecrypto INC. has pushed NoOnes into withdrawal-only mode; only Bitcoin mainnet and TRC-20 USDT withdrawals remain available.

The European Union added NoOnecrypto INC. to Annex XLV Part A effective Aug. 23, prompting the crypto platform NoOnes to switch to withdrawal-only operations and tell users to remove funds immediately. The platform now allows only Bitcoin transfers on the Bitcoin mainnet and USDT transfers on Tron via TRC-20.

NoOnes began a wind-down on Aug. 17 and closed its peer-to-peer marketplace on Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m. UTC. The company recommended that customers withdraw full balances by Aug. 23 but did not present that date as a formal shutdown cutoff. Users can still sign in, view balances, withdraw available funds and contact support while the platform assists with removals.

The EU regulation bars direct or indirect transactions with listed non-EU financial, crypto-asset and payment-service entities. The legal text names NoOnecrypto INC. but does not identify the NoOnes brand or the platform’s current operator.

NoOnes initially told customers the EU listing referred to a separate legal entity and would not affect platform operations. Later notices from the company reported an inability to resolve sanctions-related issues and the loss of key partners. NoOnes pointed to blockchain-monitoring providers’ classification of certain wallets and transactions as high risk as a reason partners ceased servicing the platform.

Several services were suspended during the wind-down, including Bitcoin Lightning payments, all USDT networks except TRC-20, swap functions, fiat and card off-ramps, gift cards, partner payouts and new user registrations. Accounts already on hold cannot withdraw immediately; the platform plans to convert those accounts to a banned status that blocks trading but will permit sign-in and withdrawal of available funds after the change.

Some crypto firms and analytics providers adjusted controls after the EU listing. One exchange warned that transactions involving listed entities may face enhanced review, rejection or account restrictions, and an analytics firm marked the listed entities in its products. NoOnes said it has served more than 2.5 million users over more than three years and has not provided a date for the end of withdrawal-only access.

NoOnes advised customers to confirm that receiving exchanges or services will accept BTC mainnet or TRC-20 USDT transfers before sending funds, noting some recipients may delay, reject or restrict transfers.
