Ceffu adds USDGO for institutional custody

On Aug. 19, 2026 OSL Group announced Ceffu will custody USDGO, letting eligible clients deposit, hold and withdraw the Anchorage-issued stablecoin where Ceffu is licensed.

OSL Group announced on Aug. 19, 2026 that Ceffu will support USDGO as a custody asset. Eligible clients can deposit, hold and withdraw the Anchorage Digital Bank-issued stablecoin in Ceffu custody accounts where the custodian is licensed to operate.

Ceffu will operate as an independent third-party custodian that holds USDGO on behalf of institutional clients permitted to use the token. Clients with permission to hold USDGO can transfer the token into Ceffu custody, keep balances there and withdraw to other permitted addresses or services.

OSL serves as the brand operator and distributor for USDGO; Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. issues the token. OSL describes USDGO as a dollar token backed 1:1 by cash and U.S. Treasuries. The company framed the announcement as a custody listing and distribution update, not a new mint, new blockchain support or a change to USDGO’s reserves.

USDGO launched publicly in February 2026 and has roughly $1.2 billion in circulation. The Ceffu listing applies only in jurisdictions where Ceffu holds local custody licences; use of Ceffu for USDGO depends on local rules and on each client’s permissions.

Jason Liu, OSL’s head of stablecoin, commented: ‘Institutional adoption still needs independent third-party custody even when the token itself is bank-issued.’ He added that Ceffu provides that custody option for clients already approved to hold USDGO.

Anchorage’s bank-side framework allows certain banks to mint and redeem USDGO. The Ceffu listing provides a regulated custody option for institutions that require a third-party custodian. Previous enterprise integrations of USDGO are separate; the announcement concerns custody only.

One custody listing does not create a universal network of holdable balances. Other independent custodians would need to add USDGO and local licensing determines where institutions can use Ceffu custody for the token.
