Blockchain Week Bulgaria 2026 to host finance and AI leaders
Blockchain Week Bulgaria 2026 brings tech and finance leaders, policymakers and researchers to Sofia Tech Park Sept. 23–25 for ETHSofia and F3 on blockchain, AI infrastructure and tokenisation.
Blockchain Week Bulgaria 2026 will gather technology and finance leaders, policymakers, researchers and infrastructure providers at Sofia Tech Park from Sept. 23 to 25. The event links two conferences-ETHSofia and F3 (Future Finance Forum)—and will cover blockchain infrastructure, AI infrastructure and tokenisation.
ETHSofia will bring engineers, researchers, protocol architects and developers to discuss distributed computing, blockchain infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy-preserving technologies, AI infrastructure and scalable network architectures. Sessions will focus on engineering, research and practical implementation of secure and resilient systems in public and enterprise settings.
F3 — Future Finance Forum will address institutional adoption of digital technologies across banking, payments and capital markets. Topics include tokenisation of assets, digital assets, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), settlement infrastructure, regulatory developments, fintech innovation and the use of artificial intelligence in financial systems. The forum is expected to attract banks, financial institutions, policymakers, fintech executives, infrastructure providers and institutional investors from across Europe.
The event lists industry partners such as UEB3, Pashov Audit Group, UNRAMP, BITOMAT and BRAIN++. BRAIN++ is the Bulgarian AI Factory and part of the EuroHPC network of AI factories. It will provide on-demand access to AI models and secure, in-country data infrastructure for fintech participants. Institutional collaborators include the University of National and World Economy and the Financial Supervision Commission.
Confirmed participants and invited organisations include the Digital Euro Association, Sygnum Bank, Crédit Agricole, Chainlink Labs, ChainSecurity and the Aave Chain Initiative, alongside other European institutional and infrastructure stakeholders.
Organisers wrote in a statement that “Europe is entering a new phase of digital transformation where AI, financial infrastructure, and distributed technologies are increasingly interconnected.” They added the goal is to create a platform where technical experts, institutions and policymakers can discuss systems likely to shape the next decade.
The programme combines technical sessions and research presentations with industry panels and policy debates. Additional speakers, partners and side events will be announced in the coming months. Registration, media accreditation and partnership enquiries should be directed to the Blockchain Week Bulgaria team.
