Bitget renews UNICEF Game Changers pact to add finance, AI

Bitget renewed its partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition to add financial literacy and AI modules and expand programs into three more countries in year two.

Bitget renewed its partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition to support the rollout of financial literacy and artificial intelligence modules and to back expansion into three additional countries in the coalition’s second year. The partnership began in June 2025 through UNICEF Luxembourg.

The coalition, led by UNICEF’s Office of Innovation, has reached more than 642,000 young people, parents and teachers across eight countries: Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco and South Africa. Women and girls make up roughly 52% of participants to date.

Under the renewed agreement Bitget will contribute to curriculum development, field visits, executive participation and coalition-led learning experiences. The coalition’s program combines classroom content, community-based learning and in-person and online hackathons.

In the partnership’s first year Bitget supported outreach events, interactive learning activities and on-the-ground visits. Ignacio Aguirre, Bitget’s chief marketing officer, visited programs in Cambodia to meet students, educators and local partners involved in digital skills training.

In late 2025 Bitget CEO Gracy Chen took part in the coalition’s inaugural global UNICEF Game Jam, a 40-day program in which young creators in emerging markets developed original video games with mentorship and a self-paced online course. Gracy Chen, Bitget’s CEO, commented in a statement: “Technology is becoming part of everyday life faster than education systems can adapt.”

Thomas Davin, Global Director at UNICEF Office of Innovation, stated: “The initiative brings industry, governments, and communities together so the next generation has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to lead in a technology-driven economy.”

The coalition plans to introduce the financial literacy and AI modules during the second year and to add blockchain content in 2026. The financial literacy curriculum will cover money management and the use of digital financial tools. The AI modules will introduce core concepts and hands-on exercises intended to relate to emerging job markets.

Bitget, founded in 2018, describes itself as the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX) and reports serving more than 120 million users. Its ecosystem includes Bitget Wallet, an app the company says is used by over 80 million people. Bitget has partnered with organizations such as LALIGA and MotoGP. UNICEF works in over 190 countries and mobilizes private sector partnerships through national offices including UNICEF Luxembourg.
