Binance Stablecoin Outflows Total $7B; Bitcoin Holds $62K
Binance recorded about $7 billion in net stablecoin outflows in 2026, including $2.2 billion this month, shrinking liquid capital on exchanges as Bitcoin trades above $62,000.
On-chain analytics firm CryptoQuant reported Binance has seen roughly $7 billion in net stablecoin outflows so far in 2026, including about $2.2 billion in the past month. Binance holds close to 70% of exchange stablecoin reserves, and the withdrawals lower the amount of liquid stablecoins available on exchanges to buy cryptocurrencies.
Flow data indicate much of the capital is moving between trading platforms rather than returning to retail wallets or leaving the crypto ecosystem. The pattern reduces the pool of ready liquidity that traders can draw on for large buys or to absorb selling pressure.
Regional exchange flows show a similar trend. South Korea has recorded 18 consecutive months of net stablecoin outflows. In June 2026, investors moved about 2.7625 trillion won to overseas exchanges while 2.2022 trillion won returned, leaving a net outflow of roughly 560.3 billion won. Traders and analysts attribute the cross-border movement in part to users seeking access to derivative products and trading services not available on domestic platforms.
The total market capitalization of stablecoins has declined to about $307.6 billion, down roughly 1% over the past month. That contraction reduces the amount of stablecoin liquidity sitting on exchanges.
Bitcoin has shown price resilience amid the outflows. Over recent sessions, Bitcoin has mostly traded between $62,800 and $63,500 and repeatedly defended a $62,000 support zone before rebounding toward $63,300. The price remains below resistance levels near $65,718 and $66,932. Market participants are watching those levels for directional signs.
Spot Bitcoin ETF flows have included periods with inflows above $200 million alongside occasional outflows. Long-term holders have increased accumulation, which keeps some supply off the market.
Exchange stablecoin balances, ETF flows and on-chain accumulation patterns are being monitored by market participants for signs of renewed buying power.
