Big Four firm validates RedotPay’s AML/CFT controls
A Big Four firm validated RedotPay’s AML/CFT controls after an independent review of its Hong Kong subsidiaries against Companies Registry guidelines.
A Big Four accounting firm completed an independent review of RedotPay’s anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism controls on 7 September 2026. The review covered the company’s two licensed Hong Kong subsidiaries, Red Dot Trust Limited and Red F. Technology Limited.
Assessors benchmarked the subsidiaries’ end-to-end controls against guidelines issued by the Hong Kong Companies Registry. The review examined corporate governance, quality assurance, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and staff training and resourcing.
The firm’s assessment concluded RedotPay’s processes are capable of identifying, assessing and managing financial-crime risk.
RedotPay commented: “All stablecoin payments firms have a solemn responsibility to operate with strong safeguards and clear accountability. We welcome independent scrutiny because it helps us continuously assess and improve the controls that support our users, partners, and the broader payments ecosystem.” The company added it views the review as part of an ongoing process and will continue to invest in its compliance framework.
RedotPay was founded in 2023 and is based in Hong Kong. It offers stablecoin-linked payment cards, multi-currency wallets and global payout services. The company says it serves millions of users across more than 100 markets and operates in Hong Kong under Money Lender and Trust or Company Service Provider licences.
